Quick Update

Happy 2015 my fellow readers!

I have so much updating to do but I can hardly take new photos or spray paint because of constant rain and humidity the past months. I hope the rainy season passes soon so I can update my blog more :(

Meanwhile, I finally got my hands on my very first Nendoroid (Pokemon Trainer Red)! It was so frustrating trying to get it to stand and pose because of it's extremely large and heavy head so I only managed to get 1 good picture:

I really wish I had my own backyard to take photos in! I love using natural settings as backgrounds but I dread shooting outdoors. Whenever I take my toys outside, I feel that I always have to rush to avoid attracting attention from passer-bys. I'm just not comfortable with people stopping to stare or make comments about what I'm doing ;(

Question: Do you take photos of your figures outside? What are some of the challenges you face when shooting outdoors?

  1. Adorable picture! :D Nendoroids are so cute :)
I take photos in my garden, but when/if I go out/on holiday and want to take photos, I try to do it in a secluded spot without many other people nearby ;)

    1. I wish I had a garden too >< I live in a high rise apartment and I usually take pics in the park near my home. Unfortunately it's not secluded enough. I've always wondered how people take pics of their toys in the middle of a busy street when they're on vacation! The effect looks cool but I'll never have the guts to do that

  2. Aww, the Pokemon trainer is too cute! :D I know how you feel! At my parents house I have an own garden, but in my own flat I just have a balcony - so I haven't taken pictures outside since I'm studying :D

    1. It's nice to have a balcony ^^ My old flat had one and it was great for taking pictures because of the natural sunlight

  3. What a beautiful photo, so vibrant! I can understand you, I don't like taking photos outside either, I rarerly take photos in my backyard because I don't even like my parents looking at me.

  4. Lovely photo! I take my photos inside, except when I am on holiday or on a trip and am doing a post about it. I'm the same about people watching me, I just can't stand that feeling that people are waching you.
